About this event
Advocates look forward to Developmental Disabilities Day at the Legislature (DD Day) all year! Now the wait is over. Join us on Tuesday, February 22nd, from 8:15 to 10:30 AM by zoom. You will hear information from legislators and fellow advocates. You will learn about important advocacy topics for this legislative session before meeting with your representatives to discuss them!
Soon, event materials, including fact sheets, advocacy toolkits, and other resources will be available on the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council website.
A Sign Language Interpreter and CART (Computer Assisted Real Time) Writer in English and Spanish will be provided.
Registration is open! There are a limited number of registration spots and they fill up fast! If you are registering for a group, please only register one email per device. For example, if you have three people that will attend on one computer, only register one person. Please tell us how many will watch from the registered computer to help us make sure that as many people as possible can attend.
For any questions or accommodations for the event, please contact Luc Chausse, Director of Communications and Engagement at The Arc Maryland, at lchausse@thearcmd.org.
