Description
In this informational training, you will learn about screening and assessment for maternal depression, developmental concerns, and kindergarten readiness. By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify 3 reasons for screening for perinatal maternal depression and developmental concerns.
- Name 3 evidence-based screening and assessment tools for perinatal maternal depression, child development and kindergarten readiness.
- Describe how results from perinatal and child screening and assessment tools can be applied to practice.
This FREE training, including lunch, is intended for all professionals working with young children and parents. Registration closes on 11/14/19, and is required for attendance.
San Benito County Health & Human Services Agency, Public Health Services, approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #17040, for 3 contact hours. A $15 processing fee will be charged for attendees seeking continuing education hours. No refunds after 11/14/19.
