Development of Mental Health Clinicians: On-the-Ground & TeleMental Health...
Using an interactive group format, this workshop provides practical information on how to help your supervisees improve the effectiveness and outcomes of their clinical service provision through both on-the-ground and telemental health supervision modalities. Topics include an overview of models of effective supervision, effective development of the supervisory relationship, and considerations for developing supervisees of differing skills levels, effective evaluation of supervisees. The complexities of distance supervision will also be reviewed, as well as basics needed for ethical provision of telemental health supervision. Utilizing thought-provoking case vignettes and hands-on application, ethical decision-making in supervision will also be covered, including incorporation of related sections of the 2014 ACA Code of Ethics and the NBCC Guidelines for distance service provision.
