(and Keep the Momentum Going!)
9:00 am - 10:15 am
Facilitator: Dr. Tiffany Baffour
Student Success Center- Hill Hall Room 331
Faculty Development Day at WSSU is a time to reconvene as a learning community to explore career development and effective practices in teaching & learning. With a focus on growth and community-building, faculty are encouraged to learn from one another, to connect with faculty they may not encounter on a daily basis, to share ideas with colleagues.
This workshop will focus upon promotion and tenure expectations regarding scholarship, “branding” your scholarly passions through social media, manuscript preparation and submission as well as time management. Join us in this dynamic conversation that will focus upon setting personal goals to meet your career development needs and university guidelines for promotion and tenure. This workshop is specifically geared toward pre-tenure (junior) faculty; however, all full and part-time faculty are welcome to attend!
