Event description

Description

Business Sherpa Group created the Developing Leaders Series to provide educational sessions to the leaders and senior team members of small and medium enterprises (SME). This includes SMEs in the not-for-profit, owner/operator, technology and other for-profit organizations. Delivered by leadership development experts with broad experience, the Developing Leaders Series sessions will cover the latest content on a range of leadership topics.

Leadership and Conflict Management

This is an interactive session and the feedback from previous sessions is that it is useful for everyone, regardless of level within an organization. Conflict can happen whenever there is a disagreement between two people. Defined, a conflict is “a clash or struggle that occurs when a real or perceived threat or difference exists in desires, thoughts, attitudes, feelings, or behaviors”. How we manage it impacts how effectively we move through it. The best organizations leverage disagreements to have wholesome discussions, which can lead to the best outcomes for the organization. The session includes tips and tools to effectively deal with conflict in the workplace and personal life.
