Event description

Description

As the governing body of a nonprofit, an effective and enthusiastic board of directors or board of trustees can make all the difference. This workshop will review best practices and provide tips and tools for several elements of the successful board. These include nomination, cultivation and recruitment practices; board orientation, assessment, strategic planning, fundraising, fiscal oversight, board/staff relations, effective meeting and reporting strategies, and more. Made possible by The Emily Fund through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

Presented by Pam Blevins Hinkle
