Join Barb Greene, owner and principal consultant with CommonGood Consulting, Inc, at the Hudson Library & Historical Society for the workshop, “Sustainable Funding for Nonprofits” as part of the library’s Winter/Spring 2018 Entrepreneurship Series.

Greene will provide an overview of the components of a diversified, sustainable funding base for nonprofit organizations. She will discuss the opportunities, challenges and the organizational capacity, culture, expertise and resources needed to support a robust fund development operation. Additionally, she will cover the essential roles played by a nonprofit’s board, staff and volunteers to help in developing diverse sources of funding.

Greene is the owner and principal consultant with CommonGood Consulting, Inc., which provides management consulting, fund development and technical assistance services for nonprofit organizations. She served as the first president and chief executive director for six years of Summit Education Initiative and has held marketing and fund development positions in several organizations. Greene serves on the boards of the Women’s Endowment Fund and Countryside Conservancy, and she is an active community volunteer in Summit County.
