If you're interested in Qigong to help you maintain mind-body balance in your life, then this event is for you.
In this class, the instructor Colman Fink will be going through various Qigong routines (such as Baduanjin, Pingshuaigong, etc) and some parts of the Yang Taiji 37-form. No prior experience in Qigong or Taiji (Tai Chi) is required.
Qigong is a Chinese mind-body practice of aligning body, mind and breath for exercise, healing, meditation and energy cultivation. However Taiji is just an advanced form of Qigong and is based on martial art technique. For more details, please check his web page Martial Arts with Colman.
This is no charge but all participants are required to complete and sign a registration and release form. So please make sure that you arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill out the form. Wear something comfortable. Feel free to bring a friend and please indicate that when you RSVP. Please note that no photos or videos are allowed but they might be taken by the organizer for event promotional purposes.
