In response to great feedback we’ve gotten from you all, we’ve decided that, rather than the endurance challenge of a 48-hour hackathon, this weekend’s event is going to be a 12-hour coding sprint! We’re busy, you’re busy, so let’s get some work done on Saturday from 8:00AM to 8:00PM!
There will be many exciting projects to work on:
Cats-ta-gram -- Think instagram, but just for cat photos.
Building something sweet using a Leap Motion and a Raspberry Pi mounted on a chassis.
UTC Senior Capstone projects including HyperAudio and the Smart Recording Studio
We’ve got some Arduinos lying about and some LED strips that are just asking to be hacked on.
Anything else you can dream up! We’ll kick the morning off with project proposals and team formation. Come with an idea and an appetite for development that would put a longshoreman to shame.
All meals for the day will be provided! Woo hoo!
Here’s the updated plan:
8am-9am: Breakfast / Coffee / Project Proposal / Team Formation
9am-Noon: Sprint, Round 1
1:30-6:00pm: Sprint, Round 2
6:00-8:00pm: Dinner / Project Presentations
Code sprints are team affairs, so developers, designers, writers, readers, learners, and leaders are needed! Come one, come all, and we’ll see you on Saturday!
