Event Details

Take me out to the baaaaalll gaaaaame!

Okay, we will. Parking on Opening Day sucks. Don't bother. Let us take you there and back: sit back, relax, and hang out with 41 of your best buds for the day. We're running shuttles from Ferndale, Royal Oak and Midtown before and after the game. 15 bucks gets you a seat and the comfort of knowing you don't have to deal with the crazies on the road.

Here's what we'll do: we'll pick you up at one of three spots: Royal Oak in front of Gusoline Alley, Ferndale behind Rosie O'Grady's, and Midtown at Great Lakes Coffee. We'll take you as close as we can get to Comerica Park, which is Woodward and Sibley. When you click the link below to purchase your ticket, you'll be prompted to choose your pick up time and location and your return trip time and location. Please note: you MUST stick to your selected times! We'll have a full bus full of crazy baseball fans, so there won't be any room to get on an earlier or later bus.

FAQ!

What happens if I miss the bus? Will the bus wait for me if I'm late?

We're running a tight schedule on this one, so, sadly, nope, we can't hold the bus for anyone. If you run into an emergency, give the phone number on your ticket a call and we'll do what we can to get you on another stop, but there's no guarantee. This is Opening Day after all.

Can I drink on the bus?

HEADS UP, crazy Opening Day fans! For this shuttle, we can't allow drinking on the bus. You can hold off for the 30 minutes or so that you're on the bus, right? Work with us here, we gotta keep the buses clean and legal so we can keep them on the road. We mean this.

What if I can't show up? Will my friend be able to go instead?

Totally. Just let us know ahead of time via hello@thedetroitbus.com and we'll update your tickets with the new name or send them with your printed tickets.

Will you be selling extra seats at the bus?

Nope. Sorry. All passes gotta be bought online. There's a limited number of seats and we want you to have plenty of room - no roof riders no matter how badass that might sound.

What's your refund policy? I want me dubloons.

We'll gladly refund your tickets seven days prior to the day of the event. After that, there are no refunds. Sorry to be so mean about it.

What about weather SNAFUs?
We live in Michigan. Sometimes Mother Nature likes to throw us a curveball. We keep safety as our highest priority. In case of gnarly weather, you'll receive an email the day of the event with a raincheck/snowcheck date. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, you'll get a voucher good for a future tour with us.
