Description

The Detroit RiverWalk, operated by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, is one of the city’s greatest public spaces. The Riverwalk is a promenade with multiple parks that, when finished, will extend for 5 ½ miles from The Ambassador Bridge to Belle Isle Bridge. It is anchored by Cullen Plaza which offers free parking, bike rentals, concession stands and carousel rides.

Walk alongside Detroit's beautiful international waterway, wave to Windsor and learn more about the incredible past, present and future of one of the city's most exciting projects.

Highlights include:

  • Cullen Plaza

  • Milliken State Park

  • Outdoor Adventure Center

  • Dequindre Cut

  • Atwater Beach Development

Tour begins promptly at 2pm. Please allow yourself a sufficient amount of time to find parking and arrive at Cullen Plaza.

We will stop frequently, but please bring comfortable shoes for walking! Have a group of 10 or more? Try booking a custom tour or contact our office at 313.962.4590 for large group accommodations.

The Riverfront Walking Tour series is generously sponsored by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
