Detroit's Fashion + Tech Hackathon brings together diverse teams with the goal of creating new tech solutions to address real problems facing the fashion and retail industry. The event is an “invention marathon” with the goal of building a working solution to pitch to the judges. Teams will have access to industry experts and mentors to help them move from ideation to prototype. Participation is open to anyone who is passionate about fashion or technology!

The Detroit Fashion + Tech Hackathon is holding a preparatory Information Session Thursday evening! The Information Session on will provide an introduction to the hosts, and to other participants with whom you’ll be joining hackathon teams with. This meeting will share highlights from the 2019 Detroit Fashion + Tech Hackathon, provide an overview of the event structure, and the meaningful experiences from prior year participants. Lastly, the team will share some of the outputs to the business challenges and innovation opportunities that last year’s participants hacked, as well as a teaser of the business challenges for this year.
