Description

Jeevak Badve, VP Strategic Growth at Sundberg Ferar, presents "Good Design is Good Business." This hands-on talk is geared toward start-ups, inventors and entrepreneurs.

Design is everywhere you lookin those everyday objects you touch: a tooth brush, a coffee maker, a lawn mower, a Playstation, your shoes, that bicycle helmet—everything around you. We are surrounded by a sea of objects. Where do they come from? Who makes them? Why not here—in the one of the most innovative and forward-thinking cities of design? It’s not just about a good idea or good design, it has to be meaningful and beautiful and original. That design has to fit in your unique business model, too. Is the business an extension of the design or vice versa? Both design and business have to be nurtured.

How do you balance the art of design and the science of business? Find out during this engaging discussion for creative minds! There will be plenty of time for networking and Q & A. Breakfast will be served.
