Detroit Book City a small independent, on-line book store that specialize & market books, media & events for the African-American consumer market. We carry novels, self-help, black-consciousness, spiritual, how-to's, urban-fiction, memoirs, biographies & much more!!! We also sell CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, Posters, Games, plus rare hard to find and out-of-print African-American books.
We are open to work with grass-root community literacy groups and schools by sponsoring virtual book fairs. We promote literacy for ALL ages -- at the family level.
Black History Month is celebrated 365 days at Detroit Book City. We regularly host book fairs and festivities to educate and express to the world the beauty and culture of a great people. Often, we offer a great selection rare African-American written books and media from self-publishers, national celebrities and Detroit authors.
We have a treasure chest of GREAT books waiting for you!!
