Yoga is the science of Pranayama or lengthening of Vital air. The Chinese call it Chi.There are five major Pranas in the body. They are Apana - expelling things down, Prana - moving things inwards, Samana - equalizing and harmonizing, Udana - moving upwards and lastly Vyana - spreading around.
We can balance our prana by balancing our breathing.
