Dance Your Way through the Greek Isles . . .
AARLCC's Destination Fridays Event on September 12
Get in touch with your inner “Zorba” and dance the night away on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. This Destination Fridays’ event boasts the theme of the Greek Isles.
There will be Greek music for your dancing pleasure and Greek delicacies such as hummus and pita, along with drinks distilled from the grape in the spirit of Dionysus, the Greek god of the grape harvest. Each time the sound of Zorba’s signature dance music appears during the evening, another prize will be awarded!
Dress to impress in a blaze of white clothing—or dress to thrill as a Greek god or goddess, with a prize awarded for the best costume.
Order your $10 tickets here or pay in cash or by card at the door.
Sponsored by the Friends of the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center and Post Haste Travel.
