Description
One of the most trusted and respected design blogs online, Design*Sponge has not only survived but thrived through the economic, social and technological changes of the past ten years.
As we celebrate a decade of publishing original content at Design*Sponge, we're embarking on a new path that involves a series of in-person classes designed to share the information, tips and techniques we've used to grow Design*Sponge from a small one-person endeavour into a team publication that speaks to over 1 million readers a day.
Social Media has become not only a huge part of the creative community, but a necessary part that is key to launching, building and growing any business, whether online or brick-and-mortar.
Through this workshop, Design*Sponge founder Grace Bonney will share her tested and trusted social media techniques for harnessing each social media channel to get across your message, grow your readership, client base and forge the sort of connections that can truly change a career and business.
This two-hour course will cover Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest as well as topics like:
-How to discover what your community wants from you
-Do's and Don'ts for each platform
-Photography tips, apps and filtersHow to research
-Finding the style and voice that's right for you
-Hashtag and Promotion Ideas
-Q&A and feedback for individual ideas (in our 20 person class size)
