Description

In this free hands-on workshop, high school and college level students will explore jewelry design with Oklahoma-based metalsmith, Charleen Weidell. This event is part of NYC Jewelry Week.

Charleen’s work in metal has been exhibited and collected on the international and national levels. Tart Server, a broad blade silver server, published in Contemporary Silver Part II: Recent Commissions written by collector Benton Seymour Rabinovich and acquired by the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England.

NYC Jewelry Week is New York City's first and only week dedicated to promoting the world of jewelry through educational and innovative NYC-focused programming. Its inaugural year of programming takes place from November 12-18, 2018. NYCJW features groundbreaking exhibitions, educational lectures, explorative workshops, exclusive tours, and unique collaborations with the best and brightest businesses, brands, individual jewelers, artists, and designers throughout NYC.
