About this event

We are delighted to invite you to Designing Health for an Ageing Population - A 2 Day Design + Innovation Bootcamp combining human-centred and medical device design disciplines.

It will focus on devices, services and user/patient experiences in the field of caring for the older person.

Here, you will:

  • Engage with design methodologies and strategies that you can use to transform your approach to problem solving and innovation
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary challenges with your colleagues
  • Explore themes such as Mobility, Falls Prevention, Cognition, Stroke & more
  • Work with experts in the field of human-centred design

This event is a collaboration between the HSE Spark Innovation Programme; EIT Health; Mercer's Institute for Successful Ageing and the Design Innovation Lab at St James's Hospital, Dublin; and the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

The Bootcamp is open to all healthcare staff (nurses, HSCPs, medical consultants, NCHDs). CPD points are awarded.
