Join us for an inspiring conversation on how inclusion and accessibility are embedded in the Brisbane Festival experience.

We will look at what it looks like in practice, including how their Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) influences their planning across departments; how they work with community, partners and venues; and how they make Accessibility happen.

A key highlight will be a deep dive into the Accessibility Guide—a practical resource designed in high-contrast and large-print formats to help audiences navigate Brisbane Festival.

We’ll unpack what it contains, how it was made, what worked, and what they’ve learned for future years. You’ll discover how they’re learning, adapting, and strengthening their approach to accessibility—one step at a time—as they work to make Brisbane Festival more welcoming and inclusive each year.
