Designing Better Government Services for All
Event Information
About this Event
There’s never been a more important time to bring a strong design perspective into public service. In this panel, you’ll hear from Presidential Innovation Fellows (PIFs) who work hand-in-hand with leaders across the federal government to bring their talents in user experience, human-centered design, service design, implementation design and customer experience to key agencies and services. They’ll share their journeys from private-sector to public-sector, and what they’ve learned along the way, working on health product development, cross-agency customer experience, design innovation, and more. We’ll end with time for audience Q&A.
We'll also share details on the opportunity to join our next cohort of Presidential Innovation Fellows. Applications are open through May 14 at apply.pif.gov.

About Presidential Innovation Fellows
Founded in 2012, PIF unites industry’s brightest technologists with forward-thinking federal leaders to improve how our government designs, develops, and delivers services for all Americans. Our fellows are embedded within government agencies as “entrepreneurs in residence” for 12 months, with opportunities to collaborate across each cohort on issues of national priority. Since 2012, PIF has matched more than 190 fellows with more than 40 federal agencies, improving how our government works for hundreds of millions of people. Applications for the next PIF cohort are open now through May 14, and you can learn more and submit your application at apply.pif.gov.
