Description

Registration and Refreshments Start at 8:00AM!

The workshop will present case studies on designing and building municipal green infrastructure (GI) projects, which use landscaped areas to remove pollutants from stormwater and provide urban greening. The workshop includes a field visit to two nearby GI projects where you will hear from the City staff involved in the project.

Attendance at this workshop will help your agency satisfy the C.3.j training requirements of the Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit (MRP).

Morning Refreshments will be provided.

This training workshop is offered at no-cost to the staff of public agencies that are members of the Clean Water Program.

A Shuttle will be available from the Union City BART station to City Hall. Shuttles will depart BART at 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. If you would like to avail yourself of the Shuttle, please indicate this on your registration. Shuttles will return to BART and City Hall after the field visit.
