Event description

Description

Speakers: Studio Joseph

Host: Brian McGrath, Professor of Urban Design

The recent renovation of The Museum of the City of New York curates, mediates and spatializes our urban history in three eras- Port City, World City and Future of the City Lab. A four-year process brought together a team of curators, media designers, graphic designers and physical designers, along with fabricators. The result is a contemporary narrative to New York City’s unfinished history building a more knowledgeable urban citizenry. Studio Joseph will discuss this highly collaborative project. The panel will be of interest to all disciplines at SCE as well as urban and curatorial studies.
