Event Details

Together with Oslo University Hospital's TIPS programme in Norway, the South Region Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) programme is pleased to host this morning seminar to explore the design of EIP services for best outcomes.

Oslow University Hospital (OUS) is one of the largest hospitals in northern Europe. The OUS division of Mental Health and Addiction consists of 48 different units with multiple departments treating patients with a first episode psychosis. The South Region EIP Preparedness Programme is a partnership between 16 mental health providers, 50 commissioners and their stakeholders.

The challenge of designing effective and accessible EIP services at scale and reducing unwarranted variation in patient experience and outcomes is universal. This event offers a unique opportunity to bring together the two programmes to share experiences and expertise in EIP service design using tried and tested methods, as well as emerging trends such as the use of digital health solutions e.g. mobile health apps.

We are delighted to confirm the speakers as follows:

  • Dr Kristin Lie Romm - Oslo University Hospitals
  • Prof. Sonia Johnson - University College London
