Designers + Geeks: Sex, Design & Disruption

Designers + Geeks features talks from experts on design, technology, startups, and all manner of geekery. If you want to be the first to hear about new Designers + Geeks events, sign up for the newsletter.
When he stumbled across an entire industry stunted by taboo, Ethan saw an opportunity to test the limits of design as a fulcrum for change. He founded Jimmyjane with the goal of bringing “Pleasure to the People” – and the intention of upending the sex accessories market along the way. Ethan will undress the Jimmyjane story to reveal lessons he’s learned on reimagining a product category, and changing the rules of engagement for both consumers and competition.
Ethan Imboden is the founder, Chairman and Chief Creative of Jimmyjane (link goes to adult products), the design & innovation leader in the burgeoning pleasure products industry. Prior to Jimmyjane, he spent a decade in brand and product innovation with some of the world's top design firms, including Arnell Group, ECCO Design, and Frogdesign.
