Christine Katcher, MSW, LCSW, has been a social worker with Arlington Public Schools for almost 4 decades. She currently works with middle school. Her experience of students and their parents is broad, ranging from preschool through high school. Some of her professional experience includes direct counseling, parent training, special education, social emotional education, and mentoring of colleagues. Christine is active in her church as well as in the broader community. Over the years, she’s enjoyed serving children, teens, young adults, and older adults. She loves to spend time with her own adult kids, her dear friends, and most especially her best friend and husband of 37 years, Danny. They live in Falls Church.
Phyllis Thompson, LCSW, is currently a school social worker, focusing on students with significant disabilities and supporting their families. Previous areas of her career include child abuse prevention, and marriage and family therapy. She has been active in her church's children's ministry teaching program, and has facilitated parenting classes both in the church and local community for over 20+ years. Phyllis loves playing games and facilitating intergenerational interaction. She loves to travel with her husband, Curt.
