DESCRIPTION

Design your Mind for Innovation returns by popular demand. It is a part of Design Your Mind event series which brings together the world of wisdom with Tech Leadership and aim to provide the edge in making you and your company thrive in an uncertain world. “Design Your Mind” is also the new name of the book by KC Wisdom, of which you will be able to download a free advanced copy ($ 20 value), after the event. KC is an author, speaker and Tech Event organizer/emcee and Dada is a monk who has spoken on Innovation and Enlightened Leadership for some of the largest tech companies (for more information, please see their bios below).

Agenda:

6.30-7 pm: Registration

7-7.15: Individual Pitches and Intro by all attendees (moderated by KC).

6.45- 7.15: Workshop on Creativity and Innovation by Dada. He will use models and best practices from Disney, Pixar and other companies.

7.15- 7.20: Break

7.20- 7.40: Keynote - “Lead your Mind to success” by KC, who will touch upon pressing Leadership topics like “Differences and Similarities between Design Thinking and Systems Thinking” and “Differences and Similarities between Creativity and Innovation”.

7.40- 8:00: Exercise for accessing inner creativity (moderated by Dada).

Bios:

Kaustav Chaudhuri (KC Wisdom)

Kaustav “KC” Chaudhuri is the co-founder of Pitch Globally and is an Advisor to several other large tech events groups and Angel Funds. He has extensive experience as an Author, Speaker, Entrepreneur and Executive in Silicon Valley both in startups as well as for large companies like HCL Technologies. He co-founded Biztech, an outsourcing strategy and leadership company, which got acquired by TCG Software, outsourcing arm of private equity& VC funds affiliated to George Soros where he became part of the Management Team and helped leverage significant investments in companies like Perkin Elmer("PKI"), Sybase(acquired by SAP for $ 5b), Selectica(went IPO), Oblix(acquired by Oracle) etc. He is the author of Design Your Mind (soon to be launched) and was part of a team of Silicon Valley experts who wrote The First Mile (John Wiley), a book on entrepreneurship on behalf of The Indus Entrepreneurs(TIE). He is also a local Board member of the Leukemia& Lymphoma Society

Dada Nabhaniilananda – “The Monk Dude”

Dada is a yoga monk, a meditation instructor, an author, a keynote speaker and a musician. Born in New Zealand, he was ordained as a monk in India in 1979. Dada has published a popular book on meditation that is available in 12 languages, produced 8 musical recordings, taught or performed in more than 40 countries and appeared on stage with the Dalai Lama before 10,000 people. He speaks on Meditation, Creativity and Innovation for organizations including UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, Kellogg Alumni Assn., JFK University, TEDx, Google, CISCO, Intel, NVIDIA, Lam Research, and Facebook. Dada sits on the Regional Advisory Board for non-profit WITI (Women In Technology International).
