Design Sprints Made Easy!
This workshop features a simplified version of what's used in Google Ventures and Fresh Tilled Soil up in Boston.
Bradley Rubin, owner Design Sprints Made Easy, and, former Chief Product Officer at CompuSmart Solutions, an established 14 yr old Software Development company in Long Island, will be leading the workshop.
If you are a small business owner or a startup with bootstrap budgets, or just curious about Design Sprints, this workshop is for you!
Each workshop has a theme designed to teach specific tools that can be used in a Design Sprint.
Here's how it goes:
* An intro and a little time for networking.
* We begin with a discussion on a themed topic.
* Then break up into teams and run through a sprint.
Your team will be using Design Thinking to advance a product("foo" or actual) or next big idea by solving for things like:
1. Who are our users?
2. What are their pain points?
3. How can we differentiate from the competition?
What the Design Sprints are ultimately about is having a defined plan, executing that plan, and keeping the research artifact as reference when measuring success/failure in the marketplace.
