Talk one - Why you need to experiment with collaboration?

Drawing from a range of first-hand experiences, I'll be talking around harnessing creativity through experimental collaboration. Looking at how having a design team spread across the world has forced us to look at collaboration in a more experimental way. I’ll cover some of the tools and methodologies we’ve explored, and a few of the interesting observations that are beginning to shape how we work.

Speaker: Dan Robins

I'm an Art Director at Investis Digital, an international communications agency founded in 2000 and headquartered in East London. I have a background in digital strategy & UI design and have worked with a number of clients ranging from startups to global organisations. The things I most enjoy about what I do is working with interesting people, experimenting with new ways of doing things and delivering creative work that meets the client and business objectives.

Talk two - Leading delivery through discovery

At Beryl we’re improving cities by getting more people on bikes. We believe the future of mobility has two wheels, and as such, we’re designing a tech-led bike share service. But it doesn’t mean we’re more tech-led than human-led. Quite the opposite, we’ve been trying hard to shape our delivery roadmap based on the learnings of a discovery track.

Having the chance to work on a dual track setup it’s like a dream come true. But it’s still challenging, especially when your products and teams are still at very early stages. This talk is our story so far - the vision for our discovery work, where we’re at, and what’s blocking us.

Speaker - Michelle Constante

Michelle leads the (digital) product design team at Beryl. Has 10+ years experience working across research, UX, and design for digital agencies such as ustwo and Digitas LBi. Her passion for urban mobility derives from designing user experiences for autonomous vehicles. She’s now part of a talented bunch who are working on exciting micro-mobility solutions.

Open Mic Session

We open the floor to you, the London UI UX design community. If you’re looking for feedback, partnership or advice on a project you’re working on or simply have a question, this is the opportunity to ask the group & further the discussion at the social. Open to all.

Contact Tally at if you are interested in speaking, sponsoring or have any questions regarding future meetups.
