Event description
A Conversation on Climate Change and Design.

About this Event

In the wake of climate change, the obligation to reduce waste, reuse materials, and repair our planet rests not only on the shoulders of civic and political leaders but on the design industry at large. To better understand the role of the sector in relation to the crisis, Be Original Americas has organized a panel of creative luminaries working in the fields of architecture, interior and product design, retail, and real estate development in Vancouver, Canada. Moderated by GRAY’s assistant editor Claire Butwinick and taking place at Vancouver’s Inform Interiors, the group will discuss the value of small acts of sustainability, solutions to eliminating excess waste, and how the design industry can prepare for the best- and worst-case scenarios of the pressing issues at hand.

Moderator:

Claire Butwinick, Assistant Editor, Gray Magazine
