Design for Good with Trevor Girard | Community Chat
Overview
Join us for an inspiring conversation about the power of creativity and design to make a difference. This special Community Chat features Trevor Girard, an acclaimed designer known for creative collaborations with Stranger Things, Katin, and Brixton, in discussion with Sarah Heath, Associate Director, Narrative Strategy and Public Engagement at United to End Homelessness, Orange County United Way.
Together, they’ll explore how design can raise awareness, spark connection, and drive action to help end homelessness in Orange County, with a focus on how narrative change through art can reshape perceptions and invite people into action.
Trevor recently partnered with United to End Homelessness to design the limited-edition t-shirt for The Person in Front of You campaign—a community movement uniting voices across Orange County to raise awareness and inspire action for lasting housing solutions. As part of the campaign, we’re calling on hundreds of Orange County residents to take part in a striking aerial photo event—a powerful visual statement that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.
The conversation will highlight how design and storytelling can advance narrative change, strengthen community connections, and inspire social impact, and how each of us can use our own creativity to make an impact.
