Design a Smarter Atlanta - Community Workshop
Monday February 27
5:30pm to 8:00pm
Good Kupa Koffie and Georgia Institute of Technology will be hosting an evening community workshop on smart cities to spark the conversation around Atlanta’s North Avenue Smart Corridor as part of SMART ATL.
The City of Atlanta has launched a new smart city initiative (SMART ATL), which will provide new data-driven services to residents, commuters, and business owners. As part of this initiative, the Georgia Institute of Technology is hosting a series of workshops to gather input and feedback from the community.
Please join us on February 27th from 5:30-8:00pm for the third event of this series in which we will discuss plans for new "smart" services. We are particularly interested in participation from residents in the Westside Atlanta communities to join in the conversation and contribute to the design of new city services for your community.
The hands-on workshop activity will allow participants to explore the potential possibilities and concerns around "Smart City" technologies, especially in the context of the Westside community. No prior knowledge or experience required—all are welcome!
If you are unable to attend but are interested in participating, we will be hosting more workshops to provide additional opportunities for community input and feedback.
Space is limited, so please RSVP.
