Design a Smarter Atlanta - Community Workshop
Wednesday December 7
6:00pm to 8:00pm
Atlanta City Studio and Georgia Institute of Technology will be hosting an evening community workshop on smart cities to spark the conversation around Atlanta’s North Avenue Smart Corridor as part of SMART ATL.
The City of Atlanta has launched a new smart city initiative (SMART ATL), which will provide new data-driven services to residents, commuters, and business owners. As part of this initiative, the Georgia Institute of Technology is hosting a series of workshops to gather input and feedback from the community.
Please join us on December 7th from 6-8:00pm for the second event of this series in which we will discuss plans for new "smart" services. We are particularly interested in participation from residents in Poncey-Highlands, Old Fourth Ward, and other communities adjacent to Ponce City Market to join in the conversation and contribute to the design of new city services for your community.
These discussions around the design of city services will also impact how we design our city, which affects our public spaces and built environment. No prior knowledge or experience required—all are welcome!
If you are unable to attend but are interested in participating, we will be hosting more workshops to provide additional opportunities for community input and feedback.
Space is limited, so please RSVP.
