Event description

Description

This registration is for auditors only. To register as a rider, please click here.

David Beard (PM Session) and Jimmy Wagner (AM Session) will lead this clinic that is aimed at helping you make your horse safer, calmer and more reliable in a variety of unfamiliar situations. This type of experience will benefit any horse and rider, especially on the trails. Gain confidence that you and your horse can handle anything the trails might throw at you.

David Beard learned gentle horsemanship from Craig Cameron in Texas. He bought his own ranch in Granbury Texas where he had many opportunities to train with some great cowboys. But the best teacher he ever found was the horse. He believes that the art of horsemanship is never "mastered" and that learning that art is a lifelong endeavor. He grew up dreaming of being a Cowboy and he lives out that dream today at the Sevens Boarding and Training Facility.

Jimmy has been mentoring with David Beard for 7 years. He has worked at Days End Farm Horse Rescue since he was 4 years old. He is also a member of DEFHR large animal rescue team. He works on colt starting and problem solving.

Advanced registration required. The prices listed below are per session. Jimmy Wagner will lead the morning session. David Beard will lead the afternoon session.

No refunds will be permitted for this event. However, registrations can be transferred between registrants of similar types (e.g., a TROT member can transfer their registration to another TROT member).

We hope to see you there!
