Event description

Description

The structure and contents of the course were designed to facilitate fast and easy learning of dermatopathology, whether preparing for board examination or building a solid foundation of dermatopathology knowledge. The course consists of 201 virtual sides* that will be accessible to the attendees on-line until the end of the month of July. The cases were carefully chosen to illustrate the relevant normal and pathologic findings to facilitate improved recognition of correct answers in multiple choice questions. The one day course will be structured as an audience response question and answer format. The moderating faculty will provide explanations that not only highlight the relevant histopathologic findings but also clinically relevant issues and pearls whenever appropriate. A complete handout with explanations will be provided after the course.

The course will be conducted by full-time academic dermatopathologists who have no industry ties. The faculty consists of dermatopathologists who are early in their academic career, close to their board examination, directed by a senior dematopathologist (Jason B. Lee, MD) with over 20 years of experience in teaching dermatology residents.
