Event description

Description

It’s natural to feel down sometimes, but if that low mood lingers day after day, it could signal depression. Depression is not a sign of weakness or a negative personality. It is a major public health problem and a treatable medical condition. It is estimated that 19 million American adults suffer from depression.

Please Join Sondra Leiggi Brandon, MS, MPH, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, APRN-Rx
from Queen’s Medical Center - West O‘ahu to learn:
• What depression is and if it lasts forever.
• How to recognize it.
• Available treatments and resources.

Sondra Leiggi Brandon
• Post Masters Certificate (PMHNP) from Johns Hopkins University
• Master’s in Nursing from the University of Hawaii
• Master’s in Public Health & Global Health from Loma Linda University
