About this Event
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness." ~ Mark Twain, Innocents Abroad
There are a lot of great reasons for anyone to travel: wanderlust, self discovery, learning about other cultures.
But travel abroad is an especially profound experience for younger people. And when experienced as part of a structured educational program, it can be even more powerful, teaching a sense of self-reliance and confidence, inspiring curiosity, and creating a sense of membership and belonging within a global community.
Last year, your generosity allowed our Denver Montessori High School students to visit Japan and immerse themselves in Japanese culture.
This year, we're heading to Puerto Rico, and we need your help to make this trip a success.
Denver Montessori Junior / Senior High School (DMHS) is hosting our Second Annual Silent Auction, GlobalPerspective. This unique event brings our community together for a one-night celebration mixing the business of fundraising and the celebration of global citizenship.
This year, we’re raising funds for an educational trip to Puerto Rico, so this year’s Silent Auction is a Pachanga! In Puerto Rican culture, a pachanga is a party or celebration. And like last year, we need your help to pull this off.
Can't make it? No worries. Simply purchase a donation ticket, or visit our website to explore all the ways you can support student educational travel at DMHS.
