Event description

Description

This course occurs Monday evenings 6 PM - 8 PM from 4/1/19 to 5/20/19.

Compassion Cultivation Training© (CCT) is a secular, science-backed eight-week program designed to help everyone develop the qualities of compassion, empathy, and kindness for oneself and for others. This happens via classroom discussion, lectures, in-the-moment exercises and experiments, guided meditation, and take home practice. The CCT curriculum aims to meet you where you are, integrating current and emerging research, wisdom from many spiritual traditions, and your own experience. This course is facilitated by Kerry Makin-Byrd, PhD. More information on Dr Kerry here and the compassion class here.

16 Continuing Education Credits are available for Psychologists, LCSWs, MFTs and Nurses.
