Demystifying TikTok for Musical Theater Creators (with November Christine)

During the pandemic shutdown, tech savvy creators started to adapt the collaborative features of TikTok to their musical theatre content. TikTok Musicals like “Ratatouille” and “Bridgerton” have proven this new platform to be a fun (and lucrative) way to create theatre. Now that live theatre is slowly returning, many creators are interested in adding TikTok to their arsenal of social media tools. In this workshop, I’ll teach you how to expand the reach and accessibility of your musical by mastering the collaborative features of TikTok. Topics we’ll discuss:

* How to create a musical theatre focused TikTok account

* Finding your target audience

* What are TikTok trends? (and how to use them)

* Adapting musical theatre content to TikTok

* Collaborative tools (duetting , stitching, tagging, and more)

* TikTok as a marketing tool
