About this event
In an effort to keep our community, speakers, and the public safe, we will continue holding all our NYCNEN meetings remotely until further notice. We hope this will allow continued increased access for our members, guests, speakers, and panelists, and we appreciate your support and feedback as we learn best practices for learning and sharing virtually.
Together we'll learn about different avenues for financing food access and nutrition education programming.
We'll cover:
-Finding grants and other funding opportunities, such as fiscal sponsorship
-Navigating government and foundation applications
-Learning what funders and partners are looking for in applications including partnerships
-Exploring new potentials for the 1115 Medicaid Waiver to finance medically tailored meals and produce Rx programs, including learnings from other states that have implemented the waiver
Let's share best practices and resources and expand access to funding to support our work!
