Democracy Awakening St. Stephen's Church Floor Housing

St. Stephen's church kindly allows groups like ours to sleep in their church for events like Democracy Awakening.

• All sleeping is on hard floors. Sleepers should bring mats or pads (and pillows and sleeping bags).

• You must vacate St. Stephens each morning by 7am to make space for the other people that St. Stephen's serves during the day, and will not be able to return until 9pm that evening. Democracy Awakening will provide a locked storage facility to hold belongings you do not want to bring to the day's activities. You may not be able to access your belongings once they are locked up for the day until the evening.

• There are 10 toilets in 5 bathrooms. Unfortunately, there are not showers available.

• Groups that wish to use St. Stephen's for sleeping must be committed to adhering strictly to non-violent protests.

• No cooking is allowed in the building.

If you need a place to sleep and cannot afford the $11.54 a night (including Eventbrite processing fee) or would prefer to pay in person, please contact us at info@democracyawakening.org. If your plans change, refunds are available until April 12th.
