Simon Foster is a former science teacher and is now the Outreach Officer for the Department of Physics at Imperial College London. Simon has a PhD in solar physics and a Masters in physics with space science, so he's a real life rocket scientist! He has a passion for communicating science and it’s his aim to inspire children to fall in love with science. In 2009 Simon entered the NESTA FameLab competition, winning the London heat and coming 3rd in the UK final.
