What are the GOLDEN DUCK AWARDS? When you buy a ticket for two** (2) to the Red Carpet Gala, you automatially adopt a 10" Jumbo Rubber Duck; dress it to portray your favotire rock star or your favorite pet or the sexiest movie star you can think of or your all time favorite movie/book/cartoon character or your favorite politician to compete for prizes and a GOLDEN DUCK AWARD!

With our NEW option of purchasing additional JUMBO RUBBER DUCKYS with the purchase of a ticket to the Red Carpet Gala, you can set a scene from your favorite movie or story - portray your favorite folk duo or rock band...just use your imagination. *Purchase an Individual ticket to the Gala and the option to add a JUMBO RUBBER DUCKY or several is available.

***You can pick up your 10" JUMBO RUBBER DUCK at Delta Gypsy, 509 Cherry Street, Helena, AR, or there is a special ticket option that allows for your JUMBO RUBBER DUCK to be shipped to you.

The coveted PEOPLES QUACK AWARD will be decided by the public's vote (1 vote per $.01) while other categories will be selected by a panel of judges and kept under lock and key by PriceWaterQuack,CPA, until announcement during the Red Carpet Gala.

DELTA DUCKY DERBY and RESCUE WITH RUSKY

The Boardwalk at the River Park, Helena - West Helena, AR

• Rides and Carnival games open for kids of all ages
• 11:00 am DELTA DUCKY DERBY
• 11:45 am RESCUE WITH RUSKY continues

The DELTA DUCKY DERBY is a race of a minimum of 1500 specially trained and weighted 4 inch rubber duck Racers. Helena Marine launches the ducks from a moored barge while volunteers man fishing boats to help keep the Racers within the race course. The Racers enter the Mississippi River just north of the Helena Riverwalk - the spectators line the banks as the mass of ducks float down the Mighty Mississippi with the winner eventually floating to victory. Cash prizes of $300, $200 and $100 will be awarded.
