Event Details

Threemile Slough runs along the eastern side of the Brannan Island State Recreation Area and then turns west to join the Sacramento River. This stretch of slough is in a beautiful part of the Delta and has lots of great wildlife viewing opportunities. It also has a lot of trash. The cleanup site is along the steep and rocky edge of the slough. Due to the difficult terrain, volunteers must be 12 years of age or older.

CAUTION: Due to the difficult terrain, sturdy shoes, pants and gloves are strongly recommended.

Directions and Map  The park entrance is on CA-160 just north of Threemile Slough Bridge and approximately 3.5 miles south of the Rio Vista Bridge. After entering the park, follow signs to the boat launch. We will meet in the boat launch parking lot.
