Description

Course Description:

This 6-CE, experiential, skills-based workshop will provide you with practical DBT-based tools and techniques that you can utilize in a variety of practices and settings! Attend this presentation to learn more about how you can incorporate the DBT model into your practice work with clients and their families, even if you aren't in a DBT-specific clinic. Through this course, you will learn skills such as targeting, completing diary cards, and conducting behavior chains—the core components in individual DBT. All materials for these skills will be included with your registration!

Additionally, attendees will learn how to recognize dialectical dilemmas in treatment, and how to manage these behaviors with clients. Finally, together we will explore the Linehan Risk Assessment and Management Protocol for assessing and documenting interventions for clients with suicidal behaviors. Join together with other professionals as we explore how to make DBT work in any practice!
