IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The 2023 Paddlefest will occur at low tide. Please be prepared to wear closed-toe shoes that can get muddy. The course route will also be adjusted as some of the narrow creeks are not navigable at low tide.

Kayaking Experience
A 4-mile kayaking excursion can take even the experienced paddler 2+ hours to complete. If you have never been kayaking before, we urge you to go kayaking several times before Paddlefest. The park offers Introductory Paddling programs throughout the summer. Our partners at Fenwick Island State Park, Coastal Kayak, also offer rentals and instruction.
Kayak Rentals
Limited kayak rentals are available through Coastal Kayak or Quest Kayak on a first-come, first-served basis. It is important to reserve your kayak rental in advance. Coastal Kayak staff will deliver the kayaks to the event. Reserve online at coastalkayak.com or questkayak.com.
Cancellation Policy
Tickets are NON-refundable unless park staff need to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions or other extenuating circumstances.
After-Party
Be sure to join us for the After-Party at Tower Road Oceanside! The party will have food trucks, live music,family activities, exhibitors, and local vendors and artisans. The price of the ticket includes a 1 free drink ticket from Thompson Island Brewing Company or a non-alcoholic beverage from the park information table.
