The Delaware Forest Service is coordinating a Volunteer Tree Planting Event on April 29th to celebrate Arbor Day.

Bring your friends and family to help reforest a 3-acre parcel at Blackbird State Forest. We need volunteers to help us plant 1,400 native tree species. The site will be prepared for this event. Feel free to bring your own shovel, some equipment will be on site.

Tree planting starts at 9am and depending on the number of volunteers, will conclude before noon.

You only need to register once for your entire group. Specifics will be collected later on.
