The DeKalb Small Business Capacity Building Series is an educational full year semester of workshops starting in January 2012. This series is designed to educate, mentor and assist new and existing small businesses build capacity. This series targets DeKalb County and Metro Atlanta area small businesses and will provide the necessary tools, knowledge and hands-on experience to strategically enhance their business practices. The duration of the program is one full year divided into quarterly modules: Successful Business Model, Market Your Business, Capital Management and Human Capital. Each module will cover the fundamental topics to assist small businesses in developing and/or significantly improving their business modeling.

Session 9: Investing/ Re-Investing
Participants will learn the typical business processes used by small businesses and the financial management methods that support them. Participants will also develop a further understanding of how investing and financing decisions are related.
