Mark your calendars for the 2022 Defiance Jazz Festival! This year's event will take place in person, as well as being simulcast across many social media platforms.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. No outside food or drinks allowed, but food and beverage vendors will be on site.

For our child guests, J.R.'s Jazzy Funbags will be handed out again this year. Families should look for the Citizens In Action tent as they enter the festival.

This year's festival features 4 artists from different branches of the Jazz family tree:

- Djangophonique (gypsy/world jazz) will act as our house band and open the festival as well as playing in between sets.

- Alvin Waddles Trio (traditional jazz)

- Barbra Lica (pop/folk jazz)

- MojoFlo (neo-funk)

Gates open at 3:30, and the music starts at 4:00.
