Defensive Pistol Class:
Course will cover:
Firearm safety rules, pistol nomenclature, ammunition nomenclature, effects of stress on the body, Pennsylvania laws and use of deadly force, effects of ammunition, drawing, proper reloading and malfunction clearing, shooting and using cover/concealment, shooting while moving, decision making, threat assessment, multiple target engagement, and multiple target areas of the body. Class will be held at Greenvalley Sportsman's clubs Heated indoor range and modern classroom.
Cost of the class is $250.00. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required at registration. The $200.00 Balance is Due at the beginning of the fist day in cash.
This is a two day class 8 hours each day.
This class is all about having and using a firearm to protect yourself and your loved ones.
We do not recommend very small micro pistols for this class....Also if you do not own a pistol we recommend not buying a gun until you have had a chance to shoot several different guns.
All too often we find people buy guns then don’t like them after they start live fire on the range and discover, they don’t like the grip, configuration, or missing and or lack of features.
You will receive a certificate of attendance/achievement upon satisfactory completion of the class.
Location is Green Valley Sportsman’s club located minutes from the Beaver Valley Mall
Items needed for the class:
Modern semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9 mm or larger with 3 magazines. Rentals are available for $25 a day.
150-Rounds of non-jacked ammunition, ammo is available on site to Purchase or Bring Your Own.
Wear A Sturdy Belt and Strong Side Mounted Holster
Dress Comfortable, we will be utilizing indoor range.
Bring Appropriate Clothing for Weather Conditions
Ball Cap, Eye & Ear Protection Required
Bring your own refreshments and light lunch. We will be taking short lunch break because there is a lot of information to cover, small breaks will be given throughout the day.
You will receive an email confirmation when you register. Please print out the registration and bring it with you to class.
